Taking The Stand On Competency, Custody, and Culpability
As a forensic psychiatrist for adults, adolescents,
and children, Dr. Haller lends his vast experience to
the legal system in case reviews, examinations, depositions,
and courtroom testimony. Through the use of a one-way
mirror and video equipment, Dr. Haller has the ability
to tape interviews with young children for use in court.
This may prevent a child from being traumatized by repeated
interviews with multiple examiners in child custody
and abuse cases.
Widely published
in matters of psychiatry and the law, Dr. Haller is
Board-certified in forensic psychiatry, as well as general,
child, and adolescent psychiatry. He is qualified to
testify as an expert witness for both the plaintiff
